A Federal Capital Territory (FCT) high court today ordered the Attorney General of the Federation to pay Miss Gloria Okolie N60 for unlawful detention. Gloria Okolie (21) was arrested on June 17, 2021, by the Inspector General of Police’s Intelligence Response Team (IRT) in Owerri, Imo State, which held her secretly for 155 days before arraigning her in court.
However, the police accused Okolie of being a member and spy of the Eastern Security Network controlled by the proscribed Indigenous People of Biafra(IPOB).
