Nigeria’s secret police, the State Security Services(SSS ) on Sunday, on Sunday, arrested a lecturer at the University of Calabar (UNICAL), Mr. Dennis Inakefe in his Calabar residence.
According to Cross River Watch, Mr. Inakefe was picked up at about 5:00 AM by six armed SSS operatives at his home. Terrified neighbors told reporters that they were asked not to come out after the SSS operatives ripped apart the protector at his residence and gained entrance into his house.
His arrest is said to be connected with his recent comments on social media regarding the leadership of the university.
